How Much Weed Can You Legally Have in Canada?

Under the legalization laws that came into effect October 17th, 2018 each Canadian adult is allowed to possess up to 30 grams of dried cannabis in public. This means that you can have up to 30 grams of weed on your person at any given time. However, there are some exceptions to this rule. For example, if you are travelling with cannabis, the amount you are allowed to possess depends on the destination. Make sure to check the regulations of the province or territory you are travelling to before packing your bags!

In terms of growing cannabis at home, adults are also allowed to grow up to four plants per household. However, some provinces and territories have different rules when it comes to home-growing. For example, in Quebec and Manitoba, it is not legal to grow any cannabis plants at home. So, make sure to check the rules in your province or territory before you start growing!
